HYBRID CLOUD DEPLOYMENT

Run Qdrant Inside Your Own Infrastructure, Managed by Qdrant Cloud

Get the managed experience of Qdrant Cloud without your data leaving your infrastructure. The data plane runs in your own Kubernetes cluster on AWS, GCP, Azure, or any conformant distribution, so you meet residency and compliance requirements.
Manage every cluster from the central Qdrant Cloud control plane.

WHY TEAMS CHOOSE HYBRID CLOUD

Fully Managed, Without Access to Your Data

When data residency or compliance requirements mean vectors must stay inside your infrastructure, Hybrid Cloud delivers the managed-service experience with your data plane running entirely inside your own cloud account or on-premise datacenter.
Layout dashboard

Provision, scale, and monitor from one console.

Hybrid Cloud clusters are provisioned and managed from the same Qdrant Cloud Console used for fully managed clusters, giving you a single interface for every deployment type.

Vectors, indexes, and backups live inside your own infrastructure.

Qdrant operates the control plane; your data plane runs in your environment and Qdrant Cloud receives operational metadata only: cluster health, resource usage, and collection names and counts. No user data leaves your environment.

Split

A clear split between what you own and what Qdrant operates.

You own the Kubernetes environment, the load balancers, and block storage. Qdrant operates the control plane, the Kubernetes Operator, and the container registry that delivers Qdrant container images to your cluster.

Container

Deploy into EKS, GKE, AKS, or any other standard-compliant Kubernetes cluster.

Hybrid Cloud supports any conformant Kubernetes distribution, so you bring the cluster you already operate.

GETTING STARTED

Set Up Your Hybrid Cluster in a Few Steps From the Console

Contact Sales to enable Hybrid Cloud, then connect your Kubernetes environment from the console. After that, manage your clusters as you would in Qdrant Cloud.

STEP 01

Open the Qdrant Cloud Console and start the Hybrid Cloud setup.

STEP 02

Run the generated install command to deploy the Qdrant Operator and Cloud Agent into your cluster.

STEP 03

Create a Qdrant cluster and select your Hybrid Cloud environment as the target.

WHAT YOU GET

Hybrid Cloud Puts Kubernetes Operations in Your Hands

Hybrid Cloud fits when data residency or compliance requires vectors to stay in your infrastructure and a platform team operates your Kubernetes environment. It is not a cost shortcut: you still run and pay for the underlying infrastructure.

If you don't run Kubernetes today, or your goal is lower operational overhead, a fully managed Qdrant Cloud cluster is the better starting point.

FAQs

Does Qdrant have access to my data in Hybrid Cloud?
In Hybrid Cloud, your data plane runs inside your own Kubernetes environment. Qdrant Cloud receives operational metadata only: cluster health and resource usage, your Kubernetes configuration, and collection names and counts. No user data leaves your environment.
What Kubernetes distributions does Hybrid Cloud support?
Hybrid Cloud requires a standard-compliant Kubernetes cluster. AWS EKS, Google GKE, and Azure AKS all qualify, as does any other conformant distribution.
What network access does Qdrant need to my cluster?
None inbound. The Cloud Agent in your cluster opens outbound connections to api.cloud.qdrant.io and grpc.cloud.qdrant.io on port 443. You never open an inbound port or hand Qdrant your cloud credentials. You never open an inbound port or hand Qdrant your cloud credentials. The Qdrant clusters themselves are never exposed to Qdrant-operated infrastructure.
Who is responsible for Kubernetes operations and storage in Hybrid Cloud?
You are responsible for the Kubernetes environment, storage provisioning, and load balancer. Qdrant is responsible for the control plane, the Kubernetes Operator, delivery of Qdrant container images to your cluster, and correct configuration and management of your Qdrant clusters.
Can I manage Hybrid Cloud clusters from the same console as fully managed clusters?
Yes. Hybrid Cloud clusters are provisioned and managed from the Qdrant Cloud Console at cloud.qdrant.io, the same interface used for fully managed deployments. To begin setup, open the console and follow the Hybrid Cloud enrollment flow.
How do I choose where my Hybrid Cloud cluster runs?
When creating a cluster, you select your registered Hybrid Cloud environment as the deployment target, the same way you would choose a cloud region for a fully managed cluster. This lets you place data in a specific cloud account and region to meet residency requirements.
